GUJCET - Gujarat Common Entrance Test

   The entrance examination of GUJCET 2018 provides admissions to all eligible candidates in the participating engineering institutes of Gujarat. GUJCET 2018 examination will be conducted tentatively in the second week of May 2018 by Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB). All examination related events such as registration, publication of admit card, conduction of examination and announcement of result will be done by GSEB. The Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) will be the admission conducting body and will be responsible for the counselling and seat allotment process. The online application form of GUJCET 2018 will be available tentatively from the last week of March 2018. All candidates will have to satisfy the eligibility criteria of GUJCET 2018 to participate in the admission process. For admissions, the authorities will prepare a merit list based on 60% weightage on 10+2 qualifying examination marks and 40% weightage on GUJCET 2018 marks. The counselling and seat allotment process of GUJCET 2018 will be held in online mode for all qualified candidates. No admissions will be provided if the candidates have not qualified GUJCET examination. GUJCET Eligibility Criteria 2018

To be eligible for admissions, all candidates will be required to meet certain criteria which are set by the concerned authorities. Various eligibility criteria such as age, nationality, domicile, educational qualification and more has to be satisfied by the candidates. Ineligible candidates will not be allowed to participate in the admission procedure.

   The candidate should be of Indian nationality.

   All candidates should be bonafide residents of Gujarat. Bonafide residents of Gujarat who are residing in other states of the country will also be eligible for GUJCET 2018.

   Should have qualified 10+2 (or equivalent) examination from Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Gandhinagar / CBSE, Delhi / CISCE, New Delhi / NIOS / International School Board.

   Candidates who will be completing their 10+2 (or equivalent) examination in 2018 will also be eligible for admission.

   Minimum score of 45% has to be secured by the candidates in the qualifying exam. The reserved category candidates will have to score 40% marks.
